Hi! My name is Thomas, owner of Slack Photography, LLC nowSlack Creative. Established in 2002, Slack Photography is a Chicago-based boutique studio that offers upscale luxury wedding + engagement photography. In 2020 I rebranded to Slack Creative (rebranded during the lockdown, to keep busy)
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Photography. I’ve interned in London for fashion photographer Mario Testino, attended Santa Fe Workshops with Ernestine Ruben
After 20 years of professional photography, I have had the privilege of photographing over 600 weddings. Although I'm based in Chicago, I travel all over the world for work. Including weddings all across the US, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, France, and Italy. I’m published and award winning. Some of my non-wedding clients include: Adidas, Footlocker, Under Armour, Jelly Belly, Ford Modeling, and Factor Women.
Before I am a photographer, I’m a proud father to two boys. Between work and raising my sons, I enjoy playing soccer and hanging out with family and friends. I have been incredibly fortunate in my career as a photographer. I owe it all to great clients who have trusted me to capture their biggest moments and memories. I look forward to capturing yours!
